Kits To Get You Started
Do you live too far away to take one of our great classes? Did you take a class but now that you're home, can't remember what tools and equipment you need? We've put together some kits to help you get started on your next urban homesteading project. Whatever it is you want to embark on, from making cheese to gardening with your kids to preserving your backyard harvest, we've got a kit to get you going!
Fermenting is the hot food trend now, and considering how easy it is to do and how delicious and healthy the results, we can understand why! This kit includes our FARMcurious Fermenting Set, handmade fermenting weights, and a great book that explains the how-to of fermentation and gives you some great recipes too.
The garden is a great place to learn, play, and get dirty! Start planning some great outdoor projects with your kids--this kit includes an Aerogrow bag for easy planting, a
Plant Nanny watering system, a fun ceramic toadstool, a packet of Seedles wildflower seed bombs, and a book with lots of ideas for getting kids into the garden.
Make homemade mozzarella, ricotta, paneer, and burrata all with this one kit. You'll get all the tools you need, plus instructions, and an option to add the book One-Hour Cheesemaking. Just add milk!
