We keep our classes small to ensure high quality instruction. If our policy seems strict, it's because last-minute cancellations really affect our ability to keep the classes sustainable. Thank you for understanding and respecting our policy.
If you're experiencing a fever or COVID-like symptoms or have been around someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you do not come to class. Temperatures will be taken upon entry to keep our guests safe.
All tickets are always transferrable to another person to attend on the original date – just notify us of the change so we can update the name on our RSVP list.
With seven days notice:
We know that things come up. If for some reason you’re unable to make it to class, we’re happy to offer you a date transfer option with a 7-day notice. To apply your credit to transfer into another class at a later date, please call or email us as soon as you know you won’t be making it to class (firstname.lastname@example.org or 510.877.9955). We charge a $45 transfer fee to attend a later date. Please note that if your original tickets were purchased at a discount, you will also need to pay the difference between your discounted tickets and the price of your new class date. Tickets are not refundable.
With fewer than seven days notice:
We cannot guarantee a refund or credit to transfer into a later class. However, if the class is already sold out we will attempt to fill your spot from our wait list. If we're unable to fill your spot from the wait list, we'll make your ticket available on our website and attempt to fill the spot for you that way. If we’re able to find someone to take your place, we will be happy to transfer you to a later date for a $60 transfer fee. Some guests may prefer to send a friend in their place to keep the full value of the ticket. Please note that if your original tickets were purchased at a discount, you will also need to pay the difference between your discounted tickets and the price of your new class date. Tickets are not refundable.

Because we buy supplies for each class and incur expenses for each person, failure to show up for a class will result in full forfeiture of your ticket and its value.
